J.K. Rowling’s latest book under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, “The Running Grave,” has been shortlisted for Book of the Year in two categories at The British Book Awards.
On International Women’s Day, the announcement marks a notable recognition of Rowling’s work in the crime and thriller genre. The seventh book in the Cormoran Strike has been selected for consideration in both the “Crime and Thriller” and “Audiobook Fiction” categories.
The British Book Awards, literary awards for the best UK writers and their works, administered by The Bookseller, has included Rowling’s work among distinguished contenders. Notable titles in the lineup include “The Last Devil To Die” by Richard Osman for the “Crime and Thriller” category. Other contenders for the “Audiobook Fiction” category include “Poor Things” by Alasdair Gray and “Impossible Creatures” by Katherine Rundell.
