The Harry Potter Deluxe Editions, only at Target
American collectors have a new set of Harry Potter books to look for. From November 2026, Target is selling a new series of Scholastic hardcovers called the Deluxe Edition, available only at the US retailer.
The set includes the seven books of the series, each with a simple and elegant design: no illustration on the front, but a single jewel-tone colour with a textured, cloth-like finish, the title in gold inside a ruled frame, and a small gold icon from the story repeated across the whole cover. These are the colours and icons of each book:
- Sorcerer’s Stone: red, with Golden Snitches
- Chamber of Secrets: green, with Tom Riddle’s diary
- Prisoner of Azkaban: teal, with stag heads
- Goblet of Fire: amber, with flaming goblets
- Order of the Phoenix: purple, with phoenix feathers
- Half-Blood Prince: navy, with Slytherin’s locket
- Deathly Hallows: plum, with crossed wands
Collectors may recognise the icons: they are the same ones used on the page edges of the stenciled-edge paperback editions Scholastic published in 2025.
The books are sold individually, with prices ranging from $26.39 for the first three titles to $31.99 for Deathly Hallows. As with other retailer exclusives, they are only available in the United States, at least for now.
It is a nice option for those who want the complete series in hardcover with a uniform, classic look on their shelves.
