Salamandra, the publisher of the Harry Potter Series in Spanish, used Dolores Avendaño’s artwork for their covers until 2014. Avendaño’s illustrations were inspired by their American counterpart, and they took part in different editions published since 1999.

As we told you previously, the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is going to be published in the United Kingdom and the United States of America on October 4th. The book will have 272 pages, and will be illustrated by Jim Kay again.

Time for another never seen before artwork from the upcoming Harry Potter illustrated edition. Today, you are going to see a marvellous illustration from Chapter 1, The Boy Who Lived. The painting shows one of the first scenes, Hagrid carrying baby Harry to Privet Drive, where Dumbledore and McGonagall await them.

This time, it is the complete artwork for the dust jacket of the soon-to-be-published edition. Bloomsbury revealed the artwork for new Harry Potter hardback boxed set. It was made by Jonny Duddle, the illustrator who also made the covers for this new edition. Watch it here.

Gallery Nucleus, which in 2011 held the Harry Potter Tribute Exhibithon (go to check the amazing artwork), is selling the artwork that Kazu Kibuishi did for the Harry Potter book that Scholastic launched last year. Nucleus made available the seven illustrations in their Harry Potter Collection.
