Great news for fans of the Cormoran Strike series! J.K Rowling has tweeted a photo of the manuscript for her upcoming book The Running Grave. The photo reveals the first title page of the book, which features the title and the author’s name.
However, the photo also allows a glimpse of the page below, albeit somewhat translucent. With some image alteration techniques, fans were able to read the second page of the manuscript, revealing the two epigraphs that open the book.
The first epigraph reads, “When, like a running grave, time tracks you down”, from the poem Like a running grave, by Dylan Thomas.
The second epigraph reads “It took a long time for things to go so far. It came about because things that should have been stopped were not stopped soon enough.”, and it comes from The I Ching, a book that J.K. Rowling has been talking about on Twitter in the past weeks.
With the manuscript in the final stages of preparation, we can expect an official release date soon.
