The sixth book in the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling’s pen name) has an official release date. One day after it was leaked into bookstores such as Amazon and Waterstones, the official social media account for Robert Galbraith together with the publishers’ accounts (Mullholland Books and Little, Brown and Co) have announced that The Ink Black Heart is going to be published on August 30th, 2022.
The book can already be pre-ordered online in multiple websites. It is curious that all of them list the book with 944 pages. It is early, in our opinion, to take this as the final page count, since it would be weird for the book to be already finished. Also, Troubled Blood has 944, so it is most probable that they just copied that and reuse it in the meantime until they know the exact amount of pages for this book.
We hope to get a cover and a synopsis soon, so the waiting until August becomes a bit more interesting!
