Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Hogwarts House Editions: Release Date

September 4, 2020

We are first to report that the Hogwarts House Editions of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be published in 2021.

The sixth book in the Harry Potter series will be published on 14th January, 2021, and the seventh and final book, The Deathly Hallows, will be published a few months later, on 3rd June, 2021. Although originally released as anniversary editions (at least for the first books), Bloomsbury changed its plans and started to release these particular editions earlier than expected.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was launched at the start of 2020, 20 years after its original release. However, for the Hogwarts House Edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the publishers did not wait until 2023, which would have been the correct year to release the book, but they decided to have the fifth book out in the market this very same year in June too.

The last two books will be released in 2021, six months apart, and will again include illustrations by Levi Pinfold, who worked on the cover and inner artwork for the books of this collection. This upcoming release dates have appeared in a catalogue created by Bloomsbury itself to promote children’s titles to be released next semester.
