If the Harry Potter fandom was waiting for news for this weekend, Friday has arrived with three updates. One of each kind: movies, books and stage plays.
Movies:
Danish-Japanese actor David Sakurai has been cast in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. As reported by Deadline, “Sakurai will play the role of Krall, one of the ambitious and sulky henchman of Grindelwald.” This, of course, raises new theories about the upcoming films and the characters. Why does Grindelwald needs a henchman? Why can’t he kill for himself?
Books:
The upcoming illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is out in two weeks, and Bloomsbury and Scholastic revealed the Marauder’s Map illustration by Jim Kay.

Stage play:
Last, but possible the most interesting one: CBS will air a new interview with J.K. Rowling herself next Sunday about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child going to Broadway next year. Maybe is this the interview where Rowling reveals why she created Cursed Child and how was that process? Let’s wait until Sunday morning!
