Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom and Scholastic in the United States released new information about the upcoming edition of the companion book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them.
The new edition of Fantastic Beasts will come with a new dustjacket by Johnny Duddle – and also it will include black and white illustrations by Tomislav Tomic. But the most important thing may be the new foreword by J.K. Rowling.
This new edition will be available from March 14th, 2017. The cover has not been revealed yet – though Bloomsbury uses this temporal artwork for its promotion:
But that’s not all – Bloomsbury has in its plan to republish the other two companion books: Quidditch Through the Ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
These new editions will be available from January 12th, 2017 – they will also come with a new dustjacket by Johnny Duddle and inside artwork by Tomislav Tomic. We don’t know what will happen with Rowling’s illustration – especially in Beedle the Bard. Will they be replaced by Tomic’s?
