We were sharing the rumours with you a few days ago, it has now been confirmed on Pottermore: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will also be published both as a book and an ebook. Actually, two versions of the script will exist.
- The first one will be on sale right after the world premiere on July 31. The text inside will be the one used in the play’s previews during the early summer. It will be sold as a Special Rehearsal Edition and can already be preordered online. It will be sold for a limited time only.
- The Definitive Collector’s Edition, though it is yet to be confirmed, will probably use the final version of the script as it will replace the Special Rehearsal Edition. According to Pottermore, details about that version will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
In the UK the books will be published by Little, Brown and by Scholastic in the US and Canada. The ebooks will be available at Pottermore.
