Sonia Friedman is the producer of the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. She spoke with Evening Standard about her career and of course, the upcoming play about J.K. Rowling’s character.

That’s what Friedman will do for Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, which opens next summer. She’s sworn to secrecy about the production but I ask if the hype makes it harder. “Everyone involved is aware of the responsibility but we mustn’t be daunted. We’re all from ‘the work comes before profit’ world — so long as we stick to that, we’ll be fine.”
