The restoration project for Hay Castle, is organizing an Art Auction to raise funds. The auction includes two originals from Cliff Wright, the illustrator for the original British editions of The Chamber of Secrets and The Prisoner of Azkaban. The first one is the original pen and watercolour of Harry Potter and the Quidditch Match (commissioned by The Mail on Sunday), with a guide price of £12,000. The second one is an original preparation sketch from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, with a guide price of £8,500.
The artists’ works will be on exhibition and open to the public at the Castle between 4th April to 11th April between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The live auction will be held on 11th April at the Castle.
